Our Mission Every individual should have the opportunity to achieve his or her own dreams. At San Antonio Youth Centers, our mission is to develop the strengths, talents and skills of inner-city youth and their family members so that each person fulfills his or her own potential—personally, at work, at school and in the community. Since 1984, the San Antonio Youth Centers has been providing safe places and caring adults for children and young adults. We equip every individual with the tools for individual success. Our basic underlying philosophy is that when we work with children, we must capitalize on the positive. We do not take a problem-based approach in working with children and youth. We nurture the positive assets in each child and young adult so that he or she may achieve his or her own dreams. |
